What data we process and for what purpose
Server logs. While browsing the site, the server automatically records data such as the IP address, the date and time of the request, the browser type and the URL visited. This data is used solely to keep the site secure and running correctly, and to detect misuse. Legal basis: the data controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Email and phone correspondence. Data provided in an email or during a phone call — such as name, email address, phone number and the content of the enquiry — is processed to reply and to prepare a quote. Legal basis: steps taken before entering into a contract at the request of the data subject, and the data controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
The site does not contain a contact form, so we do not process data entered into forms of that kind. Contact takes place solely by direct email and phone.
Google Maps
The homepage and this page contain an embedded Google map, loaded automatically together with the page. Once loaded, the browser connects to Google LLC's servers — this happens regardless of whether the map is used in any way. At that point Google may set its own cookies and process the visitor's IP address, in accordance with its own privacy policy published on Google's website.
As a result, data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, to Google's infrastructure. Google LLC states that it uses the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission as a mechanism ensuring an adequate level of data protection.
Recipients of data
Access to the data is limited to parties necessary for the site to function correctly and for correspondence to be handled:
- The hosting provider on whose servers the site runs
- The email provider handling the biuro@acegeo.pl mailbox
- Google LLC — solely to the extent described in the "Google Maps" section, due to the map being permanently embedded on the site
Retention period
Server logs are kept for as long as necessary to keep the site secure and running correctly, and no longer than required.
Email correspondence is kept for the duration of the contact, and where the correspondence results in a contract, for a further period as required by tax and accounting regulations.
Cookies
The site does not use its own cookies for analytics or marketing purposes, and does not use any external analytics tools.
The only source of third-party cookies is the embedded Google Maps map described in the "Google Maps" section — these cookies are set by Google, not by the operator of this site.
Rights of the data subject
In connection with the processing of personal data, you have the right to:
- access your data
- have your data rectified
- have your data erased
- restrict processing
- data portability
- object to processing
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO), if the processing infringes data protection regulations
